Custom Screen Printed Apparel

Screen printing is arguably the most versatile of all printing processes. It has been around since early 1900s and the process hasn't changed much since then. It is based on the idea of pushing ink though a porous, finely woven fabric (originally silk - hence another name for the technique, "silk screening" - but typically made of polyester since the 1940s) stretched over a frame of aluminum or wood. Areas of the screen are blocked off with a material that prevents ink from being pushed throught the pores (or mesh), creating a stencil of the image.

T-shirts, jackets and other wearable apparel are the most common products suitable for screen printing. Also various type of tote bags, shoulder bags and certain headwear (like bandanas) can be easily screen printed.
